I asked for this for X-Mas and I’m really bummed. This LL Bean fisherman’s sweater in “donegal tweed” just didn’t work out. It’s a heavy knit wool sweater and there’s just too much fabric in the armpit and it was driving me ca-ra-zy. I’ve found that the older I get, the less I settle for less and the quicker I am to return things. Otherwise it fit great; body and arm length, chest. The neck hole was nice, it was loose enough where my head fit through but the neck hole bounced right back to it’s original shape. On the other hand, I also got a LL Bean shetland wool sweater and it fits perfect. Now I just have to figure out what I want to exchange the sweater for. Any ideas?
